Astronomical Observations for Alien Mountain Caves – The Sri Lanka Cave Society

An ancient cave system in Sri Lanka has been found to contain evidence of advanced astronomy that dates back 300,000 years. This revelation suggests that an ancient civilization in Sri Lanka had a much more sophisticated understanding of the stars than previously thought.

The cave system, which is thought to be among the oldest in the world, was discovered by a team of researchers from the Sri Lanka Cave Society. The team found evidence that the caves were used for astronomical observations, including alignments of certain features with the movements of the sun and moon.

This discovery sheds new light on the history of astronomy and suggests that our understanding of the universe’s origins may need to be revised. It also raises questions about the capabilities of other ancient civilizations, and whether they too had a deep understanding of the cosmos.

A series of Neolithic petroglyphs were discovered on cave walls on the legendary Alien Mountain (Danigala Circular Rock) in Sri Lanka by a team of astrobiology and exo-geologists. The petroglyph, which are around 5,000 years old, depict various creatures that are said to resemble aliens, as well as symbols that are thought to represent constellations.

This discovery provides further evidence that ancient civilizations were in contact with extraterrestrial beings, and that they had a deep understanding of the cosmos. It also raises questions about the origins of life on Earth and the role that aliens may have played in our development.

Do you believe that aliens have been visiting our planet for centuries? Or is this just a case of ancient people seeing strange creatures in the night sky and interpreting them as extraterrestrial beings?

Researchers believe that rock paintings are closely related to astronomy. For example, the painting on the left might represent the sun, while the one on the right might represent the moon. By studying these paintings, we can learn more about how ancient people understood the universe.

For example, some paintings may represent constellations. By studying the placement of these constellations, we can learn about the movements of the stars and planets.

This information can help us to understand the history of our universe and the place of humanity within it. It also raises questions about the capabilities of other ancient civilizations, and whether they too had a deep understanding of the cosmos.

The research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Aravinda Ravibhanu Sumanarathna, a scientist at the South Asian Astrobiology Institute. He is a leading expert on cave systems and astronomy and has been studying the caves in Sri Lanka for many years.

Dr. Sumanarathna was responsible for the discovery of the petroglyphy, and he believes that they are an important key to understanding the history of astronomy.

“These paintings are very significant,” he said. “They show that our ancestors had a deep understanding of the cosmos, and they were able to use this knowledge to make predictions about the movements of the sun, moon, and stars.

“This is the first time that we have found evidence of such advanced astronomy in Sri Lanka, and it suggests that our understanding of the universe’s origins may need to be revised.”

The findings of this study have been published in the journal Archaeoastronomy and Ethnoastronomy.

Around 700 years ago, the Sinhalese kings of Polonnaruwa built an elaborate palace complex in the area. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most popular tourist attractions.  It contains gardens with ponds and waterfalls surrounding Buddhist temples as well as Hindu shrines dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu.

The site is also home to the world’s oldest astronomical observatory, which was built in the 12th century. It is said to be more accurate than any other observatory of its time, and it is still used by astronomers today.

The findings of this latest study suggest that the Sri Lankan cave paintings are not the only evidence of an ancient civilization’s advanced understanding of astronomy. The history of our universe is full of mystery, and it seems that we are only just beginning to unlock its secrets.

Who knows what else we will discover about the cosmos in the years to come?

One thing is for sure – the more we learn, the more we realize how little we actually know.

Were Moses and Akhenaton the same person?

Was Moses the Pharaoh Akhenaten? Moses, the venerable leader, navigated the Israelites from the shackles of Egyptian servitude to the sanctity of the Promised Land. Scriptures depict him as nurtured amid Egypt's elite echelons. Yet, whispers and contemplations arise:...
