There are many things that archaeologists won’t touch. One of these is elongated skulls, which have been found all over the world. There is a lot of speculation about what these could be, with some believing they are evidence of extraterrestrial contact or even that they are from a different planet. But until more evidence is found, archaeologists will not touch them. Pyramids are also something that archaeologists stay away from, as there is still much mystery surrounding them.
“We just don’t know enough to speak about the skulls in any sort of definitive way,” said Dr. Jennifer Raff, an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Texas, about elongated skulls. “It’s not like there is some kind of clear theory that explains what they are and where they came from.”
Still, many people have their own ideas about what these strange skulls could be.
“They certainly make us wonder if we’ve underestimated the people who lived during those times,” wrote one commenter on a recent article posted to Digg.com. “Perhaps the builders of the pyramids were not primitive societies after all.”
Another person, however, didn’t take the skulls so seriously. “I think it’s safe to say no one leaves this planet alive,” they wrote.

Some people believe that they are hiding tomb secrets, while others think that aliens built them.
“I can say with some finality that they were not burial monuments,” said Dr. Dieter Arnold, an expert on Egyptian pyramids at University of Oxford in England . “If you find any indication of bones, it’s not a pyramid.”
Even so, there are many people who still believe that we have not uncovered all of the pyramid mysteries.
“Unfortunately, we do not know exactly how the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids,” wrote one commenter on an article about a new search for hidden chambers in Khufu’s Pyramid, one of the Great Pyramids at Giza . “It is possible that alien technology was used.”
This same commenter went on to say that we need to dig even further into pyramids and other ancient sites. “I think it is important to investigate the pyramids using non-invasive methods like remote sensing and small, confined probes,” they wrote. Perhaps then we will learn more about these interesting structures and mysterious skulls.
“There is no evidence of a lack of continuity from pre-dynastic to pharaonic Egypt,” Dr. Arnold said about pyramids and other ancient sites that have been found in Egypt . “It’s rather wishful thinking on the part of certain individuals who probably would like very much to believe we were helped by someone else, and you know what that means.”
“It just doesn’t fit into our current understanding of prehistory,” Dr. Raff added. “I think we should leave it at that.”
Archaeologists Won’t Touch These ‘Mysterious’ Skulls was written by Charley Riordan on Mysterious Universe .
Mysterious skulls have been found all over the world, and they are something that archaeologists will not touch. There is a lot of speculation about what these could be, with some believing they are evidence of extraterrestrial contact or even that they are from a different planet. But until more evidence is found, archaeologists will not touch them. Pyramids are also something that archaeologists stay away from, as there is still much mystery surrounding them.
This week on Mysterious Universe, we’re talking about Mysterious’ skulls and pyramids. In a recent blog post, Charley Riordan discusses how archaeologists are hesitant to touch either of these objects because there is still much mystery surrounding them. He highlights the elongated skulls that have been found all over the world and the fact that there is no solid explanation for what they could be. Riordan also discusses the pyramids and how there is still much speculation about their purpose. He argues that until more evidence is found, archaeologists won’t touch either of these objects.
Archaeologists are hesitant to touch Mysterious’ skulls because there is still much mystery surrounding them. They are also hesitant to get close enough to pyramids, as these structures have yet to be fully uncovered and studied. As of now, it’s unclear what their purpose was or who built them – which means that archaeologists will not touch either one of these objects until more evidence is found.
